Frustrated at computer

I am a week late with posting up Aevah's 2nd birthday video and also our Santa Monica video too. Our computer is so slow which is causing the editing process very difficult to deal with. But it will be posted up soon!

STOP THIS EVIL MAN

As parents all we want to do in life is to protect our little ones and to guide them thru life making sure they are healthy, strong and safe.
Well, some places in this world aren't able to do that. Please watch this video...
And share it to your family and your friends via facebook or email. Just go onto Youtube type in KONY 2012, and you will find this video and link to where you want.... Some thing needs to be done, and if we can spread the word we will be able to make a difference in this world. We hope they catch this evil man! God bless and watch over these innocent kids, and may he bring justice to the one responsible.
LOVE, Jeremy and Ashley

LIPSTICK THEIF

WHAT'S YOUR NAME?

Just found this clip on my Iphone, that I totally forgot to post. I guess after our laptop broke and we were in the process of getting my mom cave together I forgot about it. But I am glad I found it because this was so special to me. Aiyana is 8.5 months old in this video, and for her to be able to recognize herself on the phone camera app. and also say her name was pretty cool!

HAPPY GIRL'S DAY

HAPPY GIRLS DAY TO OUR TWO LITTLE LOVE BUGS.

Aiyana-Nalee Hina'ea & Aevah-Narye Anakalia

Girls are made of sugar and spice,

Everything sweet, & everything nice,

Girls are ruffles, bonnets, and bows,

Dimpled smiles and dancing toes,

They're tears and giggles, dolls and curls,

That's how it is with little girls

MY MOMMY CAVE

a shot of the desk area, book shelf and side stand.

a shot of the office from outside by the door way.
a shot of the desk and the closet and our ottoman.
Thanks to my hubby for busting his butt off on his day off to clean out all of the boxes we had scattered all over in this room from our move and for also putting together my desk, side stand and bookshelf. YOU ROCK! My office/mom cave is finally done! And I love it!!! I still need to get me a office chair but I haven't had any luck finding one at the thrift store. But I know I'll find one soon, but for now I'm actually using our patio chair. LOL! its not that comfortable but it goes. I also still need to send some recent photo of the girls to Walgreen's photo printing dept. so I can put up pictures of the girls up on the wall. And this is pretty much it... The desk, book shelf and side table came in as a bundle and we purchased it for only 50 bucks. Normally each item alone cost more, so I got a steal deal. YAY!

OUR SLEEPY AIYANA

I was doing the laundry as the girls were in the living room playing, than all of
a sudden it was quiet. Aevah was coloring in her coloring book and watching Yo Gaba Gaba and when I went to see what Aiyana was doing I found her sound asleep half way on Elmo! It was so cute.

OUR 22 MONTH OLD AND OUR 8 MONTH OLD

So this month Aevah turned 22 months old. In two months she will be turning two, not quite sure how I feel about that - all I know is that we are RAPIDLY approaching 24 months which is crazy...
At 22 months old Aevah...
- sings to some of her favorite cartoon shows.
- loves going to the park and sliding on the slide.
- enjoys taking pictures of herself.
- talks in full complete sentences and loves to talk story with mommy or daddy.
- is the best picker upper ever!
- gives tons of kisses and hugs.
- loves doing arts and crafts especially coloring.
-  knows how to count up to 5.
- can point out animals or objects upon request.
-sings the ABC up to LMNO.
- love dressing up and playing with makeup and hair accessories. (our little girly girl)
- enjoy walking on trails and finding rocks.
- love nick jr or the sprout channel.
- the bestest big sister EVER!
& is by far way more funnier than we could have ever imagined!
A message from Mommy and Daddy:
To our Dearest Aevah-Narye... Happy 22 months old. We are so proud of all the miles stones you have accomplished this month. You sure surprise us every day with your crazy wild fun energy. Thank you for being such a great big sister. For a 22 month old you amaze us how well you get along with your sister, how helpful you are around the house, and how smart you are. We love you very much! and We are thankful god has blessed you with another month of happiness and good health. Love always, Mom and Dad!

Also this month Aiyana made 8 months old. At this point

I am for sure convinced that the months are coming and going in just a blink of an eye. She is 4 months away from her first birthday. Actually as I'm writing posting this up now, Aiyana has a week till she turns 9 months old so technically she will be 3 months away from her first birthday. Now that is crazy....
At 8 months old Aiyana...
-can say mom, dada, aebah (aevah), nana (bottle) and no!
- can fully sit down on her bum, crawls in the actual crawl stance, and pull herself up onto some thing and stand up. Also takes steps, while holding onto some thing.
-has approx. 5 teeth. (2 bottoms and 3 top)
-loves dancing to music or when you cheer her on to dance.
- enjoys eating baby mum mums and fruits.
- loves playing with her big sister.
- loves taking pictures.
- can wave hello and bye bye!
& is also by far way more funnier than we could have ever imagine.
A message from Mommy and Daddy:
To Our Dearest Aiyana-Nalee... Happy 8 months old! You truly amaze us on how much you have accomplished in these  8 wonderful months. You have developed into this little person that we love and adore watching. Your smiles and laughs always bring us joy. Thanks for being such a easy baby to care for, you truly are a blessing in this family. And we can't express how amazing life is now that you are here. We love you very much! and We are thankful god has blessed you also with another month of happiness and good health. Love you always! Mom and Dad.

OUR LITTLE ROCK STAR

IN THE V-DAY SPIRIT...

 Valentines Poem for our Daughter's...
I look at my daughters as they look at me
And into their eyes I look and I see,
The innocence that fills their unspoiled soul
These moments I wish I could treasure and hold.
But my daughters are growing and influences are strong
I hope they remember the right from the wrong,
I've tried hard to instill these virtues inside
But regardless, they still fill me with happiness and pride.
The job of a Mother can be very hard
With passion and love your heart can feel scared,
When you look at your kids filled with happiness and glee
No better reward for a Mother can be.
As hard as it is or as it can be
I'd never trade this experience for anything I see,
The innocence they hold has passed on to me
. And a much better person they have helped me to be. -
We love you girls very much... Happy Second Valentines Day Aevah-Narye and Happy First  Valaentines Day Aiyana! Love Mommy, and Daddy.

For this Valentines Day, J and I decided to get a little creative. As you can see in the picture we had Spaghetti, heart shaped meatballs and also heart shaped garlic bread. Aevah really loved it! In fact, she now knows what a the shape of a heart looks like and what it is from just looking at it. YAY!  For dessert we had Strawberries dipped into cream cheese frosting, giving it a shortcake feel without the short cake. LOL! and also an upside down heart shaped cupcakes. YUMMY! For the cupcakes Aevah helped me with sprinkling the sprinkles. So it was great having her as my little helper. Overall this was an awesome Valentines Day! Family time on a day filled with love.

OUR VALENTINES 2012 VIDEO- coming soon!

IS THIS A SIGN?

Aevah giving her FurReal Friend puppy milk in a bowl. How cute! She sure knows what to do at 21 months old.

Aiyana playing with the FurReal Friend puppy under the table. CUTE!
If we wasn't renting a condo and had a house with a nice big yard, we would totally get us a puppy! But J and I have discussed that when we do get us our own place where we have a big yard we will get us a family dog. So I guess this FurReal Friend dogs goes for now...

MEMORY JAR

This year we decided to start a new tradition for our family, and that is creating a memory jar. Basically a memory jar is a jar filled with memories (some thing your kids do or say, some thing funny that happened, some thing exciting that happened, or what ever you choose) based from each week of all 12 months and on New Years Eve, you would reveal and share each memory.

I discovered this off from Pinterest, and I fell in LOVE with this idea. What a cute way to keep and remember all the amazing funny, wonderful, and crazy memories created.

I’m off to find myself a big glass jar! and fill it with some of the memories I have written down in my mommy calendar and continue from here. I'll definitely add a picture of our Memory Jar once I purchase one and decorate it. But here is a picture of a Memory Jar that I came across on Pinterest. Cool huh!

OUR 21 MONTH OLD AND 7 MONTH OLD

This month Aevah turned 21 months old. How crazy is that. In 3 months she will be turning 2... Oh! Oh! That means J and I will be dealing with a little one in the terrible twos. Hopefully, it's not as bad as some say it is. But I guess we'll have to wait and see...
A message from Mommy and Daddy:
Happy 21 month old our dearest Aevah-Narye.
Although you are still young to understand what these monthly celebration is about, we are just so thankful that god has blessed you with another month of life. Thank you for being such a great big sister and such a great helper. You maybe only 21 months old but you sure are a gifted smart little one. We love you very much!
 Love, Mommy and Daddy

Also this month our dearest Aiyana-Nalee turned 7 months old. Yep! I said it 7 months old. How crazy insane is that. I still pinch myself when I see my little baby growing almost the same rate as her big sister, In 5 months, my little one will be turning the BIG O-N-E. Boy! am I going to miss those little tiny toes, and sleepy cuddle baby. But time is flying by and sadly we can't turn back time. So we just have to accept it. TEARS! But on a positive note, Aiyana is now mobile, she is crawling all over the place so that means Aevah has a playmate who can actually play with her YAY!
A message from Mommy and Daddy:
Happy 7 month old our dearest Aiyana-Nalee. We can't believe how fast you are growing into this little girl with such a beautiful personality. We are so blessed and thankful that god has sent you to us. You are truly a blessing. Thanks for being an easy and happy baby. We love you very much!
Love, Mommy and Daddy

SISTERLY - LOVE (JANUARY 2012)

The best thing about having a sister is that we always have a friend.
A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.

LOW-BUDGET MOMMY FINDS DEAL

When shopping for my girls or myself or even for house decor, I get almost everything second hand! I feel that I find the best designer labels and better quality of stuff at the thrift store then if I would have  at a department store.  It does take time because you have to search through every thing if you want to find that special thing. But I've never had any trouble with not finding any thing. I always walk out with a few things cause thrift store shopping makes shopping twice as fun for me and I love it!. I'm not materialistic and I don't want my children to be that way also, so taking them a long with me when I'm shopping at the thrift store is always special.
Today we went shopping at our local Goodwill and Savers with a budget of 50.00,  sent to the girls from their great aunt. Since they needed bigger clothes, I decided the thrift store would be a great place to use the money. And sure enough it was.
For all of these clothing items, my total came out to be under 40 dollars.. How awesome is that! Each item were priced under 2.99... Now that is a steal deal. Next thrift store shopping would be for furniture let's see if we can find some thing...=)

FUN DAY AT HOOVER DAM

Yesterday we took the girls to Hoover Dam, and had a little picnic there. It was awesome! Hoover Dam  is so beautiful and relaxing there, I just love it. Now, since we are still new to Nevada, J and I are still figuring out if Hoover Dam is in Nevada or in Arizona? But we did notice the welcome to Arizona sign. So I'm guessing its in Arizona. But if so, than Arizona marks the 6th state that Aevah has been to, and the 5th state Aiyana been to. Cool!

I must say our picnic was the most peaceful lunch we've had in forever. Surrounded by this beautiful scenery and eating our homemade ham and cheese sandwich and mini carrots, made this day so special. The girls enjoyed it and I must say so did we. We are definitely doing more family outings because the weather here in Vegas is amazing.
