OUR FIRST FAMILY ROAD TRIP PT.02

OUR FIRST FAMILY ROAD TRIP PT.01

MOMMY AND AEVAH'S FIRST PLAY DAY

Aevah and I went to our first play day on Friday (Feb.25th, 2011) and I must say we had an amazing time. At first I was really nervous due to the fact I've never joined a play group before, but once I got there all of my nervousness went away cause my focus was on Aevah and of course communicating with the other mommies. In fact I literally had no time to be nervous, every thing just came natural! I was open, talkative and having a great time, I actually felt like a soccer mom very involved.
Any ways, on to the good parts like how Aevah acted with bunch of kids she never seen or met before... Well, Aevah was truly a friendly, sociable and lovable baby that day. Many of the moms there was amaze how friendly Aevah was especially for her first play day.She was just all over the place! She was not shy at all. The room we were in was scattered with toys, and Aevah didn't really care for the toys she rather climb on top of the other moms instead and also crawl after the older active kids. She did interact with some of the kids her age, but she was more into the older kids because they were doing more fun things, which is what Aevah loves!  Her favorite thing that day I would have to say was giving kisses! She just love giving people kisses, which is pretty cute. So she would chase after someone until she got a hold of them and climb on top of them to give them a kiss along with a cute high pitch "HI". (Where she gets it from? We have no idea.) But all in all she had a great time! She not once fuss, she not once cried she was just my little perfect angel. I was so proud of her... After  our first play day experience, I've signed us up for my play days so we are definitely looking forward to that. I wish I took pictures, but since this was my first time meeting everyone I've decided that for safety/privacy purpose for the other kids I wasn't going to do so... So maybe next time I'll have photo's for you folks.

25 WEEKS AND 6 DAYS PREGNANT

Today I'm 25 weeks and 6 days pregnant and all I can say is I feel pretty darn good, at least pregnancy wise. I feel a little under the weather and I'm a little congested however none of these symptoms are related to my pregnancy (THANK GOD). Despite not having any nausea, tender breast and being fatigued, I did experience one random symptom which was a swollen right leg. I woke up Wed. morning to the most painful locked calf, it was so painful I could not put pressure on my right side, but after two days of rest I was in top shape, the swelling went down and the pain went away. I was ready to return back to another busy day at work...
Other than my interesting random symptom, this weeks craving have been a little weird nothing out of the ordinary but just constant needing of specific things. Such as chocolate (candy bars, ice cream, red velvet cupcakes and donuts), taco bells ultimate famous crunchy wrap, and sushi (we love sushi). Every other day I would find myself wanting one or the other, or some times all. Just the first nibble makes me and Aiyana happy! With all the junk food I crave and eat, I'm some what hoping my weight has gone up by this coming Wed. because the last time I checked I was at high risk because I didn't gain any weight in my first trimester instead I lost weight. So fingers cross! Also this coming Wed. I have a glucose testing, yes! Another round of that nasty sugary orange pop for me. I hope I do good and pass with flying colors cause I really don't want to go through the long dragging 3 hours of needles... So fingers cross on that too!
All in all Aiyana is doing great, she is sure a little active one. Lately she love to kick and move around near my ribs which is a big "Ouch" some times because I can sure feel the shock and pain when it's her foot vs. my ribs. But shes been showing signs shes okay and that's all that matter. Hopefully we get to see her soon! It feels like its been forever.

I am 15 weeks away from my due date and we cannot believe how fast the time is going by. It seem like yesterday we just found out we were expecting baby #02. So let the count down begin!!!

OUR TEN MONTH OLD AEVAH

AEVAH’S FIRST VALENTINES DAY

MY VALENTINES DAY LUNCH
THAT MOMMY MADE ME!
Here is my lunch. My Mommy spelt out the letter I and the letter U with my yummy
Strawberry and Banana Puffs. And the heart is made from Whole Wheat Bread, Mommy shaped it by cutting the center of a piece of bread into a heart. Look how good it looks!

There was also little tiny hearts on the bottom of my plate. They were yummy! I LOVE BREAD...

***AFTER LUNCH, MOMMY AND I BAKED SOME
VALENTINES DAY TREATS FOR DADDY***

VALENTINES TREATS
(FOR DADDY)
Three chocolate parfait heart shape cupcakes!
THEY LOOK SO GOOD=)

Cupcake#01: Here is a heart shaped cupcake with Red M&M's outlining the shape of a heart.

Cupcake#02: This cupcake says " I "heart shape" U. Well actually, where the "heart shape" is it looks like a flower, which actually it is. But the center of the flower is an actual pink heart shaped M&M. Can you see it? Cool Huh! Mommy made that one for me. Thanks Mommy!
Cupcake#03: This cupcake has Red, Pink, Baby Pink and White M&M Polka-Dots. This one is my favorite cause there's lots of pretty colors.

Lastly, Here is a Valentines Day Cake for Daddy! Mommy and I made it for him while he was at
work...
We decorated this yummy Chocolate cake with Pink, White, and Red M&M's, Sprinkles that comes in all kinds of colors, Chocolate frosting and we used the Red Icing to write
"Happy V-Day". We didn't have a V-day platter so we placed daddy's chocolate cake on a fun and colorful plate which to mommy and I kind match the V-day theme.
Daddy Loved it!!!
**AFTER WE FINISHED BAKING, MOMMY MADE ME A BATH.
AFTER TAKING A BATH FOR 20 MINUTES MOMMY DRESSED ME INTO MY OUTFIT OF THE DAY. AND HERE IT IS......***
TODAY'S OUTFIT WAS MY PRETTY RED AND PINK "MY 1ST VALENTINES DAY" ONESIE (BROUGHT AT BABIESRUS). MY NICE WHITE COZY LEGGINGS THAT HAS THIS COOL FUNKY HEART AND DIAMOND SHAPED PATTERNS (FROM MEEMAW). AND MY RED AND PINK FLOWER HEADBAND (BROUGHT ON EBAY). I WAS REALLY INTO MY FIRST VALENTINES DAY.... IT WAS FUN....
MOMMY AND DADDY NOTE TO AEVAH:

"WE LOVE YOU OUR LITTLE ANGEL, HAPPY FIRST VALENTINES DAY".

OUR LITTLE BOOK WORM

Our Little Book Worm!
Since Aevah was 6 months old, she loved going through her books. Now that she's 9 months old, she has been into her books a lot more. She loves opening her books, turning the pages and she most definitely loves browsing through the beautiful colors and pictures on each page. Whenever we take her to Barnes & Nobles she gets really excited, she just loves her books! As a matter of fact she would rather play with her books than her other toys, which I must say really makes me proud of her...

(Aevah flipping open the page to see the butterfly)

(Aevah really gets into the book. Especially when she sees other babies or kids. She just loves to see different expressions of kids.)

OUR NINE MONTH OLD AEVAH

AEVAH WAVES HELLO AND GOOD BYE

VIDEO VERSION OF OUT SMARTED BY OUR 8.5 MONTH OLD

Jeremy and I really wanted to catch this on video. And today I finally did!

This is a video version of what Aevah do to get in the kitchen. Only this time she found a short cut!

OUT SMARTED BY OUR 8.5 MONTH OLD

We use Aevah's laundry basket as a barricade to keep her from going into the
kitchen. When she seen daddy placing the laundry basket down she looked up at me, looked up at Jeremy and looked at the laundry basket and gave us a very innocent but naughty grin! A grin that could either melt your heart or have you wondering what is on her mind. But she knew that this way to the kitchen was off limits.
So what did she do???

She ended up commando crawling over and under her pink walker, and scooted herself around and under the pipes of her blue jumperoo. Once she tackled Mommy and Daddy's cheap way of child proofing, she noticed that two bags of laundry next to the washer was blocking her from going around the table. So what did Aevah do?

Well, Aevah decided to army crawl herself between the four legs of our white dinning room chair and again crawled between the legs of another dinning room chair and happily and quickly crawled her way out from under the dinning table into the kitchen.

Here she is laying on her side in the kitchen with that little grin on her face. She made it! She can finally see what her daddy is cooking. These past week we've learned that the kitchen and the bathroom is Aevah's favorite crawl to spots. Sooo! looks like we're going to be on a hunt for those Baby Gates sooner than we expected... Because, sad to say "Our 8 inahalf month old has out smarted us."

FAMILY TRIP TO MAUI, HI

Aevah did really well on the 5 hour flight to Maui. In fact she was such a little monkey she loved the people who sat next to us, in the back of us and also in the front of us. She made people laugh, she made them smile, she even had them come up to us to talk story. She was sure our little Miss Aloha. When we arrived at Kahului Airport, people kept complimenting Aevah on "How well she was on the plane" and "How cute she was" We we're so proud. Overall Aevah's first trip to Hana was beautiful and very memorable. We cannot wait to take her again!
Note- Mommy added pretty much all of the pictures we took in Hana for my slideshow.
So please keep in mind it's 12 minutes long! But hey, Come along with me and I'll show you all the fun and awesome things we've done...
Hugs. Kisses. Giggles. Smiles...

AEVAH'S BLOOD DRAW DAY

Aevah got her second shot today, it was so sad. She cried for about a minute or so, which is the longest we have ever heard her cry for. I couldn't handle seeing her get poked and get her blood draw so her daddy! held her through the process. I know some times us mothers take the pain worse than our babys do, but I guess we expect the pain to be horrible. But overall she did really well. After that was over with, we got to see the nurse to do an updated weight check and our little Aevah gained 15oz., her birth weight was 6lbs 8.8oz. when we left the hospital she was 6lb 6.6oz. and than at her three day check she gained right back to her birth weight. Now a week after shes 7lbs. 7oz., she is really blooming...
